So I write this as we are sitting in Memphis sorting out our lives and unpacking our bags. Europe was an amazing adventure, and I am glad that we made the decision to extend our trip that way. We tried to stay in places longer than we did in New Zealand and Asia. We wanted to feel more like the locals and less like tourists. It honestly does get tiring moving to a new town every two days and packing up your bag. The more you travel, the more you learn, and the more you adapt to not being a tourist. We did a lot of home stay’s and guesthouses where you rent out a room in someone’s house. We also tried to spend time in countries we knew we may never want to come back to in our older age, such as Morocco and Romania. It is always difficult to recap on such long journeys of travel. There are so many stories, sites, and adventures that we had. I always try to keep record of what we did each day, where we stayed, etc. So here are the totals for our trip, and some of our favorite things that we saw and did. We are adjusting well to reality, and have a lot to do in the next two months. Our plan is to be living back in Chattanooga full time by the first of the New Year!
